| The Lee County Sheriff's Office, Florida, is among many agencies nationwide which enlist the cooperation of law enforcement, public and private schools, corporations, the media, and the general public to reinforce positive behavior in youths and encourage them to do the right thing. Positive behavior is encouraged and rewarded through public recognition and awards, thus promoting healthy decision-making and positive actions. Help us Find Kids who Have "Done the Right Thing"Each month during the school year, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the News-Press, B103.9 FM and NBC2 honor youth in our community who distinguish themselves by their exemplary behavior. We need your help. If you know a child whose accomplishment, attitude, or outstanding effort makes them a positive role model for their peers, please nominate a child. |
